Incident Report #79 2005

Snow and freezing rain fell on frozen ground, causing very slippery conditions on every surface. A woman who was part of a large rambling group from Southport slipped on a quiet back road and sustained painful wrist and shoulder injuries. An ambulance was called but was unable to reach her in the icy conditions, so the team was requested to assist. She was transported to the ambulance in a team 4x4.
