A 29 year old man from Rainford collapsed on the Band, Langdale, with severe chest pains and was carried down by the team on a stretcher and taken to hospital in Kendal.
Footnote: This incident occured whilst the team was already involved with another rescue. The weather was dry, with cold winds, and dull.
