The search recommenced in daylight and improved weather. This time we were assisted by Kendal, Duddon and Furness on the south side, and Patterdale, Kirkby Stephen, Penrith and RAF Leeming MRTs on the northeast side. Also assisting were 4 SARDA dogs, including one from southern Scotland, and a search and rescue helicopter. An extensive search was carried out, but nothing was found.
