Patterdale, Deepdale
The team went to assist the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team when a 43 year old man from Leicester collapsed and died at the head of Deepdale in the Greenhowe area. RAF Boulmer attended.
Footnote: This man just went along to make the party up. He had no experience of walking. Blizzard conditions on the fells, deep snow on the high fells.
