Moasdale, Langdale to Scafell

A 21 year old man from London was walking with a party from Leeds University when he became exhausted and suffered exposure at Upper Mosedale. Lost his way in the darkness. He had walked from Langdale - Scafell and was returning the same way.
Footnote: The day was cold, wet and snow on the tops. Smooth soles shoes. Was his first walk in Lakeland. Inadequate clothing. No torch. Informants had no idea where he was.
