Incident Report #56 2006

A competitor in a mountain marathon fell and sustained a serious knee injury. The team were called and were heading uphill when we were notified that a Royal Navy search and rescue helicopter in the area had gone to his aid and airlifted him off. We turned round and headed back down again.
