Incident Report #3 1976

A 61 year old woman from Preston slipped and fell on ice covered path near Loughrigg Terrace, Rydal — possible fractured ankle.
Carried by stretcher to an awaiting ambulance and then to Hospital at Kendal.
Footnote: The ground was frozen solid making fell boots of little use to an inexperienced walker.
