Incident Report #26 1972

Search on Silver Howe, Grasmere area, following reports that Flares had been
seen on the fell. Two Standard "Flash Bomb" Fireworks found on a footpath on Silver Howe by Team. They had recently been ignited, and would have given the appearance of flares. Search called off when these objects were found. No trace of persons responsible.
