Grisedale Tarn, Grasmere, Fairfield Horseshoe

A 16 year old youth from Kendal was carried down by stretcher after collapsing at Grisedale tarn, Grasmere. Treated by doctor at Traveller's Rest Inn, Grasmere, recovered and went home with parents.
Footnote: The victims friends made him walk from below Fairfield summit to Grisedale Tarn not knowing that this was contrary to exposure treatment.
