Raven Crag, Gt Langdale
A 36 year old man from Kew, Surrey fell 250 ft. whilst abseiling off Raven Crag. He sustained injuries from which he DIED. The Team recovered his body. Footnote: The knot in his tape belay sling came undone. Knots on any slings should be checked regularly. Weather conditions: GOOD - SUNSHINE, FINE, DRY ROCK.
