An 18 year old male student from Sheffield slipped and fell about 700 ft. He sustained two broken legs, pelvic, spinal & facial injuries. He was carried on a stretcher to Patterdale by Kendal, Penrith, Patterdale and Langdale Teams. Weather conditions: DARK, COLD, SNOW & ICE, SNOWING AT TIMES.
