Incident Report #47 2006

A team member fell in the ghyll, while ascending to assist on this rescue, sustaining chest injuries. A group of team members went to his aid while the remainder continued with the evacuation of the previous casualty. After some spectacular flying the helicopter managed to reach both sites and evacuated both injured parties. Kendal MRT had been called to assist, given the weather and doubts that the helicopter would be able to gain access, but in the end weren't required. Team members will be issued with snorkels if these weather conditions persist. It was very very wet.
