Incident Report #16 2003

A 36-year-old man from Leeds was swimming in Easedale Tarn, and slipped while getting out. As a result he fractured his tibia and fibula. He was treated at the scene and airlifted to hospital. It's probably none of my business, but you do have to wonder about the wisdom of swimming in water where being hit by an iceberg is a real possibility!
