A full scale search was mounted for a solo walker aged 16 from Oxford. No-one knew his route. Local Teams assisted by S.A.R.D.A. R.A.F. Leeming M.R.T. and a helicopter from R.A.F. Boulmer. Located 1.15 p.m. 30-10-82 at Esk Hause. Had slept overnight on Mickledore.
